To achieve the maximum benefit from the Stripfoil process we believe that the highest priority must be allocated to the training of the machine operators. Operation of the machine is not complicated but learning the techniques of obtaining the optimum settings for each blister strip format, and subsequently monitoring performance is important. Training is offered in two ways.
InstallationEvery time a machine is installed, technical support personnel from Pharma Engineering, or one of its approved distributors, will be on site to teach the customer's staff how to use the Stripfoil machine. A training protocol is in place which covers all necessary machine operations including;
- Clean-down of all product contact parts
- Choice of rollers and distance settings to achieve full deblistering without product damage
- Feeder magazine setup to ensure smooth uninterrupted flow of blisters
- Choice of Stripfoil tape width and roll changes
- Basic machine maintenance
The Stripfoil Operation and Maintenance manual supplied with each machine is a comprehensive reference which answers any question which might be asked, including an in-depth troubleshooting guide.
In addition a DVD is included which shows all operations in animated graphical form.
