The patented Stripfoil system is unique in that it employs a special adhesive tape to remove the foil from beneath the pockets containing the medication, which allows the product to fall into the collecting vessel without the use of force and leaves it uncontaminated by foil.
The result of the Stripfoil deblistering process is a full recovery of undamaged, uncontaminated product at speeds which, depending on the nature of the products being deblistered, can reach production rates far in excess of those achieved with previous generation equipment. Finally, the machine uses no expensive tooling - only simple change parts, which also allow changeover and cleandown between formats to be completed in less than 3 minutes
